At Mack Pack Pet Care, your pet's safety, comfort and well-being is our top priority. Because we provide private in-our-home care
in a family environment, we maintain clear policies to ensure a safe and positive experience for all dogs and people involved.

We accept:
• One dog per client household
• OR two sibling dogs from the same household
We do not offer group boarding or commingle dogs from different households.

For everyone’s safety, clients must disclose any history of:
• Aggression or reactivity
• Biting or attempted biting
• Resource guarding
• Anxiety or fear-based behaviors

π‘ Home Environment & Visitors
Mack Pack Pet Care operates within a private residence. Limited third-party presence (such as family members or occasional visitors) may occur during care. Dogs may be separated, crated, gated, or otherwise managed at Mack Pack Pet Care’s discretion to ensure the safety of all people and animals.

π Property Damage
Clients are responsible for any damage to Mack Pack Pet Care’s home, property, or belongings caused by their dog during care.

β€οΈ Resident Dogs
Resident dogs may be present on the premises. Introductions are thoughtfully managed and supervised to ensure a safe, positive experience. Owners may choose whether their dog participates in interactions with resident dogs or remains separate during their stay.
π Supervised Play & Outdoor Timeββ
All playtime and outdoor yard activities are supervised to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care.
π©Ί Health & Cleanliness Policy
For the safety of all dogs, Mack Pack Pet Care does not accept dogs who are currently ill, contagious, infested with fleas or ticks, or showing signs of infectious skin conditions without prior approval. Dogs must arrive clean and in generally good health. Excessive dirt or strong odors may require bathing.
If a dog shows signs of illness, parasites, or a contagious condition during care, Mack Pack Pet Care will assess the situation and take appropriate action to support the dog's health and comfort. This may include temporary separation in a designated area, enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures and consultation with the owner regarding veterinary care if needed.
If Mack Pack Pet Care’s resident dogs are ill or there is a health concern within the home, scheduled services may be postponed or canceled to protect all pets.ββββ

π Outdoor Play & Cleanliness
Dogs may become dirty during outdoor play or weather conditions. Basic cleaning, grooming or bathing may be provided as needed for hygiene and comfort.

π Emergency Care
If an emergency occurs and the client or emergency contact cannot be reached, Mack Pack Pet Care is authorized to seek veterinary care at the client’s expense.
π Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
Walks, Drop-In Visits, Play Sessions & Mack Pack Rides
• More than 24 hours notice: No charge
• Less than 24 hours notice: Up to 50% of the service fee
• Same-day cancellations: Full service fee may apply
Boarding & Extended Care
• 7+ days notice: Full refund
• 3–6 days notice: Up to 50% of the reservation total
• Less than 72 hours notice: Full reservation amount may apply
Holiday Reservations
Holiday reservations require advanced planning and limited availability.
• Cancellations within 7 days of the reservation may be charged the full reservation amount.
Wedding & Event Pet Attendant Services
• Event reservations may require a non-refundable retainer to secure your date.
Last-Minute Booking Requests
• Requests made within 24 hours of the desired service time may be subject to a last-minute booking fee and are based on availability.
Meet & Greet Requirement
• All new clients are required to complete a complimentary meet and greet before their first service to ensure the best fit and a safe, comfortable experience for all.
Home Access & Key Handling
• Clients are responsible for providing access to their home before the first scheduled service.
• Access may be provided through a house key, lockbox, keypad entry, garage code, or other approved method.
• Client access information will be kept secure and confidential.

Please complete a separate Client & Pet Screening Form & Waiver for each dog receiving care, including sibling dogs from the same household. This ensures we have accurate health and behavioral information for every pet in our care.
